Full Job Description

In this role youwillprovide evidence-based, holistic care to adiverse caseloadof patients with complex dysphagia and communication impairments across acute and neuro pathways.

Working with our other clinical leads, this role will alsoprovide leadership and support service development, as part of thegrowthof the SLT service andtransformation of hospital services.Specificallysupervising neuro and acute B6 rotational posts, developing neuro rehab pathways andprovidingtrainingopportunitiesacross the service.

The successful applicant will have experience of working in an acute hospital setting, including critical care.The applicant should have skills in managing patients with tracheostomy and ideally instrumental assessment,as we have a newly established FEES service. You will be a confident communicator who thrives in a fast paced, multidisciplinary environment.

If a role or servicerelocatesas part of a planned move, excess mileage will not be reimbursed. Travel from home to the new work base will be classed as a normal commute. Any other changes will be managed under Trust or national terms and conditions.
