Automation Change Manager

We are recruiting an Automation Change Manager to join Berkshire Healthcare's Intelligent Automation Programme. This senior role will lead the Change and Analytics Team and help clinical and corporate services redesign complex processes and introduce safe, effective and sustainable automation. You will combine business analysis, project delivery and change management, working with services, developers and governance specialists from early discovery through testing, implementation and adoption. The role offers the opportunity to influence digital transformation across the Trust, improve how services work and help ensure that automation delivers measurable benefits for patients, staff and services. The post is based at Bath Road, Reading, with travel between Trust sites and flexible working to meet programme and service requirements.,

• Lead the analysis and redesign of complex clinical and administrative pathways, identifying delays, duplication, errors, rework and opportunities for improvement.
• Gather, validate and document clear business requirements and produce high-quality Process Definition Documents for technical delivery.
• Lead or coordinate automation projects from discovery through development, testing, implementation and transition into business-as-usual operation.
• Assess the impact of change on staff, workloads, responsibilities, patient pathways and procedures, and develop proportionate engagement, communication, training and adoption plans.
• Provide visible leadership to the Change and Analytics Team, setting standards and priorities, allocating work and supporting staff development.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, service readiness, go-live and early-life support, ensuring risks, decisions, approvals and contingencies are recorded.
• Define and monitor financial, operational, workforce, quality, safety and staff-experience benefits.
• Ensure work complies with programme governance and relevant information security, data protection, clinical safety, cyber-security, audit and quality requirements
