The role covers the London and Home Counties area. You will receive full training through a structured development programme, including working alongside an experienced engineer to help you become familiar with the company's products, procedures, and systems.

• A starting salary of over £42,000, with realistic first-year earnings of around £60,000 OTE

Responsibilities of an Automatic Door Engineer

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of swing and sliding automated entrance systems within a local postcode area. Your responsibilities include:

• Managing your own work in progress


• Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately


• Attending regular training courses to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment


• Being an active team player while helping to sustain the company's reputation and growth

The role requires a practical and customer-focused approach, with the ability to diagnose faults, complete repairs efficiently, and represent the company professionally when working on site.

Requirements of a Successful Automatic Door Engineer

• EN16005 knowledge


• Previous practical experience working on swing and sliding entrance systems


• Excellent customer service skills


• Electrical, welding, or hydraulics experience


• A positive, professional, and reliable approach


• Willingness to undertake ongoing manufacturer training

• £42,000 basic salary, with OTE circa £60k+ in your first year
