Full Job Description

Following an exciting service restructure, we are seeking an Auditor to join our dedicated audit team. This team will work in close collaboration with our established Internal Audit and Investigations teams. Together, we're building a dynamic, forward-thinking service that plays a vital role in supporting not only the Council but also a wide range of valued external clients.
As an Auditor, you will:
Deliver a portfolio of audits as part of the Services plan and produce comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations
Support high standards of governance by evaluating and improving risk management.
Collaborate with stakeholders and data specialists to develop innovative ways of working and best practice.

A detail-oriented and analytical professional with experience delivering high-quality, insightful audit work.
A strong communicator and collaborator who can engage effectively with stakeholders, contribute to audit planning, and present findings clearly both in writing and verbally.
A proactive learner and team player who is eager to develop professionally, contribute to continuous improvement, and support the wider audit team.

Salary £35,235 - £39,513 per annum | Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week | County Hall, Preston, Why join us?
