Have you got secretarial typing experience & looking for a career within the NHS, this could be the job for you! An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Audio Typist within the Kent Oncology Unit at Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells Hospital. A good range of secretarial skills, including knowledge of medical terminology, audio word-processing etc is required. The ability to organise your day and work as part of a team are also desirable. Applicants should be confident, self-motivated and be able to demonstrate good communication and organisational skills, along with a flexible approach to duties.

Main duties of the job

You should be self-motivated with the ability to work in a busy and pressured environment. You should be able to demonstrate good communication and organisational skills, along with a flexible approach to duties. Typing will be an essential part of the job role, so IT skills are a must. Knowledge and experience within the Health sector would be beneficial but not essential.
