Full Job Description
A high-attaining "Outstanding" academy in Slough is seeking a dedicated Attendance & Welfare Officer for a full-time, permanent role starting ASAP. This position is scheduled for 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00). You will be responsible for managing attendance technicalities while building humane, supportive relationships with families to ensure every student thrives. - Essential: Previous experience in an attendance or welfare-focused role within a UK school.
- Essential: Proficiency in school MIS systems (e.g., SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom).
- Essential: Must possess the Right to Work in the UK (The school cannot provide sponsorship).
- A compassionate yet firm approach to communication and a deep understanding of local authority protocols.
Full-time, permanent contract. - Salary Range: £26,500 - £31,000 (Fringe Scale).
