Full Job Description
John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) believes in the power of education to improve lives - and the world. As a partner academy in JTMAT, we are seeking to appoint an Attendance & SEND Officer to join our team, supporting the efficient management of student absence and SEN information. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key part in the smooth operation of school compliance.
The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for parents and carers regarding attendance, working collaboratively with school staff, the Education Welfare Officer and external professionals to promote excellent attendance and remove barriers to learning. They will coordinate attendance review meetings and SEND annual reviews, ensuring statutory processes are completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed timescales.
The role is central to maintaining compliant, secure and effective attendance and SEND records, providing high quality administrative support to the SENCo and senior leaders, and producing timely, accurate information.
If you have a passion for excellence and share our vision, we can offer you the opportunity to be part of a successful and progressive Trust, which is committed to ensuring learning is at the heart of all we do.
