Full Job Description

GRADE 8 (SCP 22 - 27) £33,699 - £38,220 FTE (Pro-rata - £23,727.22 - £26,910.43) Term Time only, Fixed Term 30 hours per week (Variation is negotiable) We are seeking to appoint an Attendance Intervention Manager to commence as soon as possible on a fixed term basis in the first instance. This post will be for 30 hours per week and the successful candidate must have held a full manual driving license for two years. About You This is a fantastic opportunity for a forward thinking, inspiring and motivated individual to move forward with their career. This post provides the opportunity to work closely with Senior Staff to manage support strategies to developing children's sense of belonging and mattering and through these to improve their attendance within school. You will have the ability to liaise with parents, outside agencies, education welfare with regards to supporting families and improving belonging and attendance to school. You will be expected to:

  • Develop and implement systems to promote well-being, belonging and high levels of attendance.
  • Understand and analyse school attendance data in order to identify attendance patterns for groups and individual students and implement support to improve attendance for those children.
  • Work with families in order to pursue concerns about attendance and other welfare issues. During such visits, to formulate strategies, as appropriate, to the family.
  • Work with school leaders to develop and lead the whole school strategy on attendance, including its evaluation.
