Our Structured Finance team works closely with colleagues across Financial Regulation, Funds, Insurance and Reinsurance, Banking and Derivatives, collaborating across Fieldfisher's European network and beyond to deliver integrated, commercial financing solutions for a diverse client base. The team covers a wide range of transactions which includes private securitisations and other complex financing arrangements, structured insurance and reinsurance transactions and asset servicing contracts. While experience in structured finance would be helpful, the team will consider outstanding candidates with other relevant experience looking to specialise in this area. Responsibilities Supporting the structuring, negotiation and documentation of structured finance transactions Proactively managing matters with appropriate supervision Working on transactions involving complex features, extensive documentation and multiple jurisdictions Building and maintaining strong client relationships, with high levels of direct client contact Communicating clearly and effectively with clients and other stakeholders Contributing to the team's business development strategy, including: Preparing briefing papers and client updates Attending and presenting at client seminars and events Developing and maintaining contacts within client organisations Experience and Knowledge A strong technical understanding of structured finance Qualification as a lawyer (0-5PQE) in England and Wales or another common law jurisdiction
Experience advising on structured finance transactions or other complex financing arrangements An ability to think laterally and identify related issues and risks Excellent written and verbal communication skills The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team A confident, professional and proactive approach The Firm We are not a UK firm with offices in Europe.
