Introduction Are you passionate about designing user-centred digital services that make a real difference? Do you have experience in user research, usability testing, and working with multidisciplinary teams? Can you translate complex systems into simple, accessible user experiences? Are you keen to develop your product design skills while contributing to meaningful public services? What's the role? …… As an Associate Product Designer, you will support the design and delivery of digital services for Lewisham residents. You'll work across discovery, research, prototyping, and testing to improve user experiences and service outcomes. Collaborating with product managers, developers, and stakeholders, you'll help bring user-centred design into delivery. You'll contribute to accessible, inclusive solutions that align with council priorities and resident needs.
You'll bring a strong foundation in user-centred design and a willingness to learn and grow. You'll be confident supporting user research and usability testing across digital services. You'll be able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver design solutions. You'll have good communication skills and be able to explain design decisions to a range of stakeholders. You'll be committed to accessibility, inclusive design, and continuous improvement. You'll be organised, proactive, and able to contribute across multiple projects.
