Associate Practitioner - Cardiac Physiology

To carry out in a caring and efficient manner, the appropriate diagnostic investigations of the patient in accordance with Trust and department procedures and protocols and in line with level of competency. Primary role, to include: 12 Lead ECG, ECG / BP Ambulatory Monitoring with analysis and reporting under some supervision. Line management support for Cardiac Health Care Science Assistants.

You will have excellent skills in performing 12 lead ECG and ambulatory ECG and BP monitoring. You will have some experience of analysing ECG's and will be expected to complete professional body examinations in this area. You will ideally have skills in phlebotomy and may learn cannulation as part of this role. You will support the team with leadership aspects such as organising work rotas and stock management within your area.
