Full Job Description

We are recruiting an Associate People and Culture Partner - Inclusion, Engagement & Culture to play a pivotal role in shaping an inclusive, engaged and psychologically safe workplace across the North Middlesex Hospital linking across the wider Royal Free London Group. This is a specialist Band 7 role within the People Directorate, dedicated to strengthening staff experience, belonging, and inclusive culture. This post focuses on preventative culture work, staff engagement, and embedding inclusive practices throughout the employee lifecycle. Main duties of the job 1. Lead Inclusion, Engagement & Culture Initiatives 2. Analyse Workforce Equality & Engagement Data 3. Support Divisions with Engagement Improvement 4. Facilitate Staff Voice & Culture Interventions 5. Build Leadership Capability in Inclusive Practice 6. Contribute to Policy & Strategy Implementation 7. Collaborate Across People, OD & Operational Teams 8. Manage Projects & Priorities

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
  • CIPD qualified, working towards CIPD, or equivalent professional experience
  • Evidence of continued professional development in inclusion, engagement, organisational culture or leadership
  • Desirable
  • Qualification or training in facilitation, coaching, mediation, cultural intelligence or EDI, Experience delivering inclusion, engagement or culture initiatives within a complex organisation
  • Experience analysing workforce data (e.g. Staff Survey, WRES, WDES, equality metrics) and translating findings into action
  • Experience facilitating workshops, focus groups or engagement forums
  • Understanding of inclusive leadership principles and psychological safety
  • Experience contributing to organisational change with a focus on staff experience and engagement
  • Experience building strong stakeholder relationships across clinical and corporate services
  • Experience supporting staff networks or employee voice mechanisms
  • Knowledge of Equality Act 2010 and Public Sector Equality Duty
  • Experience contributing to organisational change with a focus on staff experience and engagement
  • Experience building strong stakeholder relationships across clinical and corporate services
  • Experience working within the NHS or public sector
  • Experience working within a multi-unionised environment
  • Working knowledge of employment legislation and understanding of the risks of noncompliance
  • Experience advising managers on individual and/or collective conflict situations, including disciplinary, capability and grievance issues
  • Knowledge and experience of working within the HR Business Partner model
  • Desirable
  • Employee relations experience in a complex, multi-disciplinary and culturally diverse organisation
  • Knowledge of NHS People Plan / People Promise priorities

  • Ability to work collaboratively across People, OD, Workforce Information and operational teams
