Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate to join a busy and growing team. This role will primarily involve supporting our Managing Associates in the delivery of compliance projects for our DPO clients, and assisting our Data Protection Specialists with DSARs. The role will also include a wealth of direct client contact and business development opportunities, within a supportive environment designed to help newly qualified lawyers flourish.

  • At least a 6-month seat undertaken in a relevant practice.
  • Trained at a leading firm, rated by the legal directories.
  • Strong academic record.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent writing skills, with strong drafting abilities.
  • Ability to effectively manage own workload, undertaking a truly client facing role.

Data Team The Data team guide clients through privacy and data protection issues at every stage, whether they need an end-to-end GDPR compliance project, strategic guidance on launching a new AI tool, or are looking to start or defend a data protection claim. The team also offer outsourced DPO as a service, cybersecurity incident response, UK & EU Representative services as well as support with the business or personal impact of data protection breaches. The team advise clients on how best to achieve their strategic objectives while complying with an evolving regulatory regime. For organisations, we assess and help fix gaps in compliance, resolve incidents and repair reputations.
