Associate | Manufacturing & Industrials

Join our Corporate & Institutional Coverage team and play an important role in supporting and growing client relationships across the Manufacturing & Industrials sector. This dynamic global sector is closely aligned to the UK Government Industrial Strategy, offering the opportunity to work with businesses at the heart of the UK's economic growth. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll build trusted client relationships, identify opportunities to meet customer needs and help deliver sustainable business growth. You'll support a portfolio of corporate clients, using research, market insights and financial analysis to understand their strategic priorities, identify emerging trends and help develop solutions that align with both client objectives and the Group's credit and profitability requirements. Working collaboratively with product specialists and relationship teams across the bank, you'll contribute to delivering excellent client outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on risk, governance and regulatory standards. You'll embrace new technologies and ways of working that enhance both the client and colleague experience, while contributing to wider team objectives through effective planning, strong stakeholder collaboration and a commitment to continuous learning and development. • At least 2 years' experience supporting client relationships within corporate banking.
• Experience developing trusted client relationships, identifying customer needs and supporting the delivery of appropriate banking solutions.
• Strong analytical and financial assessment skills, with the ability to interpret business information, identify trends and support the development of client solutions.
• Experience using customer relationship management (CRM), client management or banking platforms to support client servicing and portfolio management.
• Good understanding of risk management, governance and regulatory requirements, capable of operating within established credit and control frameworks.
• Strong communication and management capabilities, enabling you to establish credible relationships with clients and internal partners while balancing multiple priorities effectively
And any experience of these would be great:
• Knowledge of the Manufacturing & Industrials sector
• Experience preparing client presentations, financial analysis or relationship reviews to support business development activities.
