Full Job Description

As an Associate Lecturer in one of the largest providers of nursing education in the UK, you will be working with a vibrant community of academics, practitioners and researchers with a commitment to providing high-quality, research-informed teaching, to ensure active learning.

You will join a team of academic practitioners, innovating, teaching and supporting student nurses across the undergraduate and postgraduate curricula. You will also support a range of post-registration teaching to registrants accessing our CPD portfolio, alongside opportunities to be involved in research and project work. You will be involved with supporting students, linking with our practice partners, and engaging with the research agenda., As an Associate Lecturer, you will be expected to deliver engaging, evidence-based teaching that supports student learning and development, contributing to both face-to-face and online delivery where required.

You will participate in module delivery and assessment, ensuring content remains current, research-informed, and aligned with public health priorities and industry expectations.

The ability to design and deliver transformative and innovative learning experiences.

Knowledge and understanding of critical, practical, and theoretical issues relevant to Mental Health Nursing and the health and social care agenda.

Experience of teaching, training or supervising undergraduate and postgraduate nurses in a practice or academic environment.

Current NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse.

Evidence of ongoing professional development.
