A Chartered member of a relevant professional institution (e.g. CEng MICE) with significant relevant experience
Experienced in leading complex construction engineering services and temporary works design
Skilled in design management and coordination across multidisciplinary teams
Confident in providing technical assessment and review of third-party designs

What will you be responsible for?
As an Associate Engineer, you'll be working within the Construction Engineering team, supporting them in delivering safe, buildable engineering solutions.
Your day to day will include:
Leading temporary works design and checking, integrated with permanent works as applicable
Providing tender and bid support including feasibility studies and outline design schemes
Managing the delivery of alternative solutions and value engineering opportunities
Overseeing project teams, ensuring technical compliance and quality of design deliverables
Building positive relationships with clients and design teams, representing Kier at project meetings
