Experteer Overview In this senior NHS leadership role, you will shape and deliver communications and engagement across the Trust and place system to support patient care and staff experience. Reporting to the Chief Executive and sitting on the Executive Management Committee, you will advise across the Trust, build trusted relationships, and help translate strategy into impactful communications. You'll work at pace to support organisational change and ensure consistent, engaging messaging with external partners and internal teams. This is an opportunity to influence culture, reputation, and care delivery at scale. Pay / Benefits

  • Advise the CEO and senior leadership on communications and engagement strategy Lead and coordinate cross-organisational communications efforts across the Trust and wider place system Develop and implement multi-modal communications plans with emphasis on digital channels Oversee crisis communications, reputation management and external stakeholder engagement Engage with journalists and media, shaping coverage and placements Support delivery of the People and Culture Strategy and service integration initiatives Foster strong relationships with a wide range of colleagues to improve patient care and staff experience Tasks Experience in senior communications leadership roles Evidence of continuing professional development Experience in developing and implementing multi-modal communications strategies with a significant focus on digital communications Experience of managing crisis communications including reputation management and external stakeholder engagement Experience of working confidently with journalists, influencing and placing stories Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to forward plan Strong understanding of the news agenda Ability to communicate sensitive issues Key requirements Generous annual leave Pension scheme NHS discount schemes Health and wellbeing services Learning and development opportunities Flexible working
