Full Job Description

  • Mobilise and lead multidisciplinary teams across infrastructure, real estate, asset management, technology, data and change, bringing together the right capabilities for each client challenge.
  • Lead complex client engagements spanning digital strategy, technology-enabled transformation, analytics and the implementation of systems, platforms and integrations.
  • Take end-to-end accountability for engagement scope, quality, commercial performance, risk, governance and outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to senior clients, translating strategic and operational challenges into clear digital priorities, investment cases, roadmaps and delivery plans.
  • Lead implementation partner assignments, including programme mobilisation, requirements and solution definition, delivery planning, design assurance, integration, process alignment, testing, adoption and benefits realisation.
  • Shape analytical delivery, working with data specialists to improve asset information, generate insight and support evidence-based decision-making.
  • Build and sustain senior client relationships, identify new opportunities and lead proposals, propositions, scoping and fee discussions.
  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders, facilitate workshops and support organisational change, capability building and technology adoption.
  • Provide visible and inclusive leadership, coaching team members and creating an environment in which people can perform at their best
  • Contribute to the growth and direction of the InfraTech team through market insight, proposition development, thought leadership, recruitment and collaboration with KPMG's UK and global networks.
    • Key responsibilities include: Client and engagement leadership: Lead senior stakeholder engagement, facilitate workshops and translate complex needs into actionable recommendations and high-quality deliverables. Delivery: Manage programmes covering digital strategy, technology-enabled transformation, analytics, systems, platforms and integrations, ensuring delivery remains aligned to business, asset and user needs. Business development: Identify and shape opportunities, develop propositions and lead compelling proposals and commercial discussions. Data and insight: Shape analytical delivery with data specialists to improve asset information, generate insight and strengthen evidence-based decisions. Commercial management: Manage scope, resources, engagement economics, quality and risk, taking timely action to protect outcomes. People leadership: Coach and develop colleagues, creating an inclusive environment in which multidisciplinary teams can perform at their best. Practice development: Contribute market insight, thought leadership and recruitment to support the continued growth and direction of InfraTech, AMA and IAG.

    Strong track record of leading complex digital, technology or data transformation engagements from strategy through implementation and measurable outcomes. Experience delivering systems, platforms or integration programmes as an adviser, client-side leader or implementation partner. Ability to connect business, asset and user needs with technology, data, process and operating-model change. Strong consulting and client leadership skills, including senior stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and production of clear, high-quality deliverables. Demonstrable experience of building trusted client relationships, winning new business and managing scope, resources, engagement economics, quality and risk. Experience in infrastructure or asset-intensive sectors; knowledge of real estate management, facilities management, asset management, digital estates, smart buildings, data platforms, analytics, digital twins, connected assets or emerging technology is advantageous. Numerate degree or equivalent professional experience Key behavious and competencies Proactive and growth oriented, with a can-do approach to shaping opportunities, developing propositions and strengthening team capability. Commercially minded and outcome focused, with the judgement to balance client value, quality, risk and commercial performance.

    We are looking for an exceptional Associate Director to join our InfraTech team within KPMG's Infrastructure Advisory Group (IAG). IAG brings together more than 400 professionals to advise major public and private sector organisations on the strategy, investment, delivery and operation of infrastructure and asset-intensive businesses. Infrastructure and asset-intensive organisations are under increasing pressure to improve performance, make better investment decisions and deliver more value from their assets. Digital technologies, connected assets and better use of data s.are central to this agenda. Our team works across sectors including real estate, transport, government, defence, energy, utilities, health and education, combining infrastructure expertise with digital, data and technology capabilities. We help clients define and deliver digital strategies, improve asset information and analytics, design technology-enabled operating models, and implement systems, platforms and integrations. Our work ranges from shaping technology investment priorities and roadmaps to acting as an implementation partner through solution design, process alignment, adoption enablement and benefits realisation. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a commercially minded leader who can develop trusted client relationships, shape opportunities and lead complex digital and technology-enabled transformation programmes. You will bring structure to ambiguous challenges, mobilise multidisciplinary teams and translate strategy into practical delivery. Experience in real estate or the built environment would be valuable, but we welcome candidates from across infrastructure and other asset-intensive sectors.
