Experteer Overview In this role you drive complex FI & sponsor transactions from origination to close, building trusted client relationships across Europe. You will work closely with senior decision-makers, cross-functional teams, and external partners to shape financing solutions and portfolio growth. The position offers broad exposure to deal execution, portfolio management, and cross-border collaboration within a high-performing bank platform. You will contribute to Scotiabank's European growth through impactful, credit-led advisory and execution. This is a high-visibility role with direct access to senior leadership and clients. - Manage an active FI client portfolio, monitor performance, identify opportunities, and support relationship development Lead lending transaction execution from origination to closing, including revolving facilities, term loans, and subscription finance Coordinate structuring of derivative and bespoke products Engage with senior client stakeholders (CFOs, CEOs, Fund Directors, investors) Liaise with external partners (legal counsels) during origination and negotiation Prepare and present credit recommendations to senior management and risk/commercial committees Collaborate with teams across Corporate Banking, Global Banking & Markets, Risk, Legal and Operations Support business development, industry conferences, and client marketing across Europe Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to develop leadership capabilities Tasks Experience in Corporate Banking, Financial Institutions, Sponsor Finance or related credit-focused role Strong credit analysis and transaction execution; ability to lead deals independently Knowledge of Insurance, Asset Management, Funds, Private Capital or Subscription Finance Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills Proactive, collaborative mindset; thrive in a fast-paced environment Key requirements inclusion and belonging culture direct access to senior leadership ownership from day one exposure to complex international transactions collaboration across London, Dublin and global teams
