Full Job Description

Join our Midlands Project Management team (either Birmingham or Nottingham) as a Project Manager, delivering a wide range of schemes across commercial office, industrial/logistics, aviation, education and government sectors. This is a senior leadership role focused on leading major project delivery, developing client relationships, and driving growth across key sectors including commercial, industrial, aviation and government. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the regional PM practice-leading teams, winning work and delivering high-profile programmes that enhance the built environment across the Midlands.Your role

  • Lead major projects and programmes or oversee a portfolio of commissions
  • Act as a senior client advisor, building long-term strategic relationships.
  • Drive the commercial performance and profitability of projects and accounts.
  • Provide leadership across teams, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
  • Shape and deliver regional business development strategy, identifying new opportunities.
  • Lead and contribute to major bids and framework submissions.
  • Mentor and develop Senior PMs and emerging leaders.
  • Champion best practice in project delivery, governance and client service.
  • Represent AtkinsRéalis externally across the Midlands market.

    Degree qualified and chartered (MRICS / CHPP / MCIOB or equivalent).
  • Proven experience delivering and leading complex, high-value programmes.
  • Strong network across Midlands public and/or private sector clients.
  • Demonstrable success in winning work and developing client relationships.
  • Highly developed commercial, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Passion for developing people and building high-performing teams.
