Prepare and follow up ISDA confirmations across Interest Rate Derivatives, FX, Credit Derivatives and Commodities for the CBA Group.
Join a global, follow-the-sun Operations team sitting at the heart of our Financial Markets business.
Help safeguard the Bank and our clients by mitigating risk and delivering accurate, timely confirmations., Market Operations also provides Middle and Back Office services including Collateral Management, Regulatory Reporting, Client Reference Data maintenance, Client Onboarding, KYC Refresh, Account Origination, Client Case Management, Estate Management, International Loan Administration & Operations, Trade Support, Confirmation services and Settlements / Payments., Reporting to the Trade Lifecycle Manager, Middle Office, you'll work closely with the Global Confirmations Team and Trade Support streams to produce ISDA confirmations for the Financial Markets products dealt by the CBA Group, making sure every confirmation meets Bank policy and global market standards.
Process ISDA confirmations across the CBA Group - drafting, verbal affirmation, chasing and execution - on both paper and electronic platforms.
Prepare and follow up confirmations for Interest Rate Derivatives, FX, Credit Derivatives and Commodities/Precious Metals transactions in line with current ISDA standards, and document novations of Financial Markets transactions.
Identify, analyse and escalate operational issues, risks, audit and compliance matters, and help put mitigation plans and procedures in place.
Drive continuous improvement of current and future processes to increase productivity and gain processing efficiencies.
Develop and maintain procedures, including the testing and implementation of new processes to comply with Bank and industry standards.
Keep across the latest developments in regulation, products, processing and ISDA confirmation standards.
Prepare and provide informative management reporting and troubleshoot technical difficulties in a BAU environment.
Deliver outstanding customer service and exceed expectations on turnaround times for both internal and external customers.

We're looking for a detail-driven operations professional who thrives in a fast-paced Financial Markets environment and takes genuine pride in accuracy, risk awareness and first-class client service. You'll bring strong ISDA and confirmations expertise alongside a real commitment to continuous improvement.
Bring 2 to 3 years' experience in a Confirmations role covering IRS, FX and Commodity products.
Have a strong understanding of ISDA Master Agreements, ISDA Confirmations and the various ISDA Definitions.
Understand Financial Markets products, processes and their associated risks.
Hold a broad understanding of Operations functions and their various streams.
Demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills.
Have strong systems knowledge across Murex, Excel, Word, Access and database systems.
Bring strong attention to detail.
Hold tertiary qualifications in a finance discipline (desirable).

Market Operations is a Global team of 400+ Operations Professionals who support our Global Markets, Commodities, Structured Trade & Treasury businesses globally. Functions performed are trade confirmation / affirmation, settlement, reconciliation, and client data capture/maintenance, corporate actions (the front to back trade lifecycle) across FX, Fixed Income, Rates, Commodities, Carbon, Structured Trade, Derivatives and Loans.
