Associate Chief Pharmacist

Following promotion of the existing post holder to a national role, we are delighted to announce this exciting position within our leadership group, with responsibility for our education and training teams and a number of our specialist clinical pharmacy teams. The role will be extremely rewarding and requires an individual who is experienced in working at a strategic level with a range of stakeholders. • To lead, manage, maintain, plan and co-ordinate all areas of responsibility (Pharmacy Clinical Services, Education & Training Teams for all sites) at Imperial in line with Trust Priorities and Pharmacy strategic objectives.
• To ensure delivery of high quality services which are patient focussed and consistent across the Trust sites.
• To ensure services are provided in accordance with current regulations, best practice and legal requirements.
• To set standards for services, monitor performance, and ensure that services are provided efficiently and in accordance with the needs of users.
• To develop, train, motivate and encourage staff working within the team and the department as a whole.
• To support the Pharmacy Leadership team in the development, maintenance and implementation of the annual business plans and service strategies for the department.
• To act as the Operational Site Lead as required in the absence of the respective Deputy Chief Pharmacist (s) as required.
• To Deputise for the Deputy Chief Pharmacists, Chief Pharmacist and other members of the Pharmacy executive team at department, trust and external meetings as required.
• To provide expert clinical pharmacy services, department and ward based in line with Trust procedures, national guidance and government legislation
