Full Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Assistant Teaching Professor (0.2 FTE) who will act as the Lead for Unit 4 of the PgDip in Healthcare Innovation on Patient and Population Health, as well as contributing across the whole MSt course in Healthcare Innovation. The role will be based at the Department of Engineering's Central Cambridge site.

Educated to PhD level, or with related equivalent experience, in topics related to healthcare engineering and patient and population health, the successful candidate will demonstrate a strong technical knowledge across a range of topics with specific expertise in patient and population health. You will have a proven track record in relationship management with experience of teaching delivery and/or the design of teaching materials. Demonstrable expert knowledge of teaching of a particular subject involving a critical understanding of relevant theory and/or principles outside of the immediate specialism is essential. You will also be able to demonstrate presentation skills for spoken and written communication and possess the necessary attributes to represent the Healthcare Innovation programme to students, the wider University and externally. Experience in relevant research would be advantageous.
