We are seeking a Senior Assistant Teacher-a dedicated professional who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential. This role plays a vital part in the daily life of our classrooms, ensuring continuity of learning, promoting inclusion and supporting staff and students across the school. What You Will Do

  • Supervise and lead whole classes during short-term teacher absences
  • Support small groups and individual pupils, including those with additional needs
  • Deliver engaging lessons within a pre-prepared framework
  • Collaborate with teachers on planning, preparation and resource development
  • Promote positive behaviour, independence and inclusion in line with school policies
  • Provide constructive feedback to pupils to support progress
  • Mentor, guide and support Assistant Teachers, contributing to their professional growth
