Full Job Description
We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Bank Assistant Shop Managers to support our Yeadon shop, covering holidays, planned leave and occasional short-notice absences. This is a flexible, zero-hours opportunity that allows you to work around other commitments whilst supporting an incredible cause. Why Join Us? As part of our retail team, you'll help create a welcoming community hub where customers, volunteers and supporters feel valued and inspired to support Martin House. What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the Shop Manager with the day-to-day running of the shop
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Helping maximise sales and donations
- Supporting and motivating volunteers
- Creating an attractive and inviting shopping environment
- Ensuring high standards of presentation, safety and stock management
Enjoys working with people and building positive relationships - Has retail experience or experience leading a team
- Is enthusiastic about supporting a local charity
- Can work independently and use their initiative
- Is flexible and able to cover shifts when required

Every year we care for more than 550 families, at the hospice, in hospital and in families' own homes, as well as supporting around 200 bereaved family members.
