Assistant Rowing Coach Maternity Cover - 1 Year, Part-Time - 20 hours per week Salary: £19,281 (0.53 FTE) per annum based on a full-time equivalent salary of £36,380 per annum. An amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated rowing coach to join the Rowing Department at LEH. LEHBC is one of the top girl's rowing schools in the country, with medals won at every age group this year at National Schools. This is an exciting moment to join the programme. Our facilities on the Molesey stretch of the Thames are outstanding with a superb boathouse and impressive fleet of boats. Building on recent successes and ambitious plans for the future, the successful candidate will work alongside an experienced coaching team, offering excellent opportunities for learning, development and contribution to a programme with high aspirations. They will also be fully engaged in all levels of rowing at LEH, with the emphasis on supporting the lead coaches for the J16 and Senior squads. The working hours are 20 per week, across a 7-day working pattern (including evenings, there may also be a requirement to work additional hours to the stated core hours). The postholder must be available to work at the weekend (in particular Saturday mornings) to coach and accompany students to sporting fixtures. This is a fixed term role for 1 year to cover a period of maternity leave from November 2026. What we offer:
- LEH is a thriving school situated on a 24-acre site southwest of London. It has a vibrant and diverse community, and LEH students are renowned for their academic prowess as well as their success across an extraordinarily wide range of co-curricular activities, including sport, music, and drama.
- We have state-of-the-art facilities, and we encourage staff to make the most of the school's swimming pool, tennis courts, free lunches, on-site parking, and library resources.
- A list of our attractive range of benefits can be found here. How to apply: Applications must be made on the School's own form, CVs will not be considered and should not be submitted. The closing date is noon on Friday, 25th September 2026. Applications will be considered upon receipt, and interviews can take place at any time. The school reserves the right to close this post at an earlier date should a successful appointment be made. Safeguarding Statement: All staff working in the School will have some contact with children and will therefore be in regulated activity. Staff with teaching duties will be responsible for the pupils that they teach and may also have additional specific pastoral or other responsibilities for other pupils
