Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for someone who is commercially aware, eager to learn and passionate about developing a career in quantity surveying within the rail or infrastructure sector.,

• Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in a commercial, construction or infrastructure environment.
• Good understanding of basic quantity surveying principles.
• Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary project team.
• Full right to work in the UK.
Desirable:
• Experience within rail, civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Working towards membership of RICS, ICES or a similar professional body.
• Understanding of Network Rail environment and standards.
