Full Job Description
TheDepartment ofClinical Health Psychologyat Hillingdon Hospitalbrings together embeddedpsychology specialists workingwithinadultphysical healthMDTs atHillingdon Hospital.
Thiswell-establishedroleisfocused in supporting the Pain Management Programme (PMP) and the Cross-Specialty clinic (XHP) within the Department.
The PMPis a multi-disciplinary programme, delivered as a series of interactive group sessionsguiding people with chronic paininliving as fully as possible despite pain.
The XHP clinic receives inpatient and outpatient referrals from all specialties in HillingdonHospital to address psychological factorsaffecting treatment and recovery., + Toassistthe delivery oftheHillingdon Hospital SpecialistPain ManagementProgramme (PMP) and support the broader project of alignment with the Acute Provider Group.
+ Toassistin clinically related administration, collectionand processingofPROMS and performancedata, managing digital tools, development of audit and/or improvement projects,in thePMP and XHPclinicsand across the Department.
We are looking for a graduate psychologistwith an excellent record of academic achievement, excellent potentialanddemonstrable interest and aptitudein data analysis and digitalhealthcareinnovation.
Training and supervisionin the well-defined clinical interactions within the Pain Management Programme will be offered. While we do not expect clinical experience,we are looking forexcellent skills in complexcommunication, teamworking andusing Rfor data processing .
Monday is a required day; all workingdays will be onsite,with the possibility ofdefined at-home sessions for defined tasks.
Thisroleisintended asa developmentalentrypoint for a new graduate,andwillbenefitfrom direct supervision by an experienced clinical psychologist, broader learning opportunities within the Department andan excellent range offree CPDprograms within the CNWL Psychological Professions group.
