Full Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Band 5 Assistant psychologist to support the delivery of the psychological provision, utilising a stepped care approach. The post holder will work closely with the current psychological professions staff, which include Practitioner psychologists,PWP staff, CBTand psychological therapists. The post holder will be an integrative part of the wider MDT which includes mental health nurses, psychiatrists and Advanced clinical practitioners., Thepostholderwill be expected to support the completion ofsemi-structuredpsychological assessments. To work closely with stakeholders and others involved in service user care and management to gain and gather information and collate this in a meaningful way.

To assist in developing formulations, which will be used to drive recommendations and ongoing intervention plans, including individual and group intervention.

To co-facilitate CBT informed individual and group interventions (at Step 2).

To co-facilitate group interventions alongside psychological therapists (at Step 3).

To conduct neurodevelopmental assessments and support the wider neurodevelopmental conditions team.
