Assistant Psychologist

We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic and compassionate Assistant Psychologist to join our award winning admission avoidance service, Radcliffe Place, within the Pennine Care Learning Disability Hub.

Essential requirements for the post include: a first or upper second class honours degree in Psychology, entitlement to Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership with the British Psychological Society, experience of working with individuals with a Learning Disability and the ability to demonstrate a high level of skill in terms of both verbal and written communication. The successful person will be required to undertake a range of activities under the guidance and supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist. This will include completion of assessments and observations, planning and facilitation of therapeutic activities, participation in MDT meetings, data collection, research and service development projects and report writing.
