Full Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated psychology graduate who is keen to gain experience in order to progress towards applied training in clinical psychology. The post is focused upon supporting data collection processes for Children and Young Peoples outcomes, including clinical outcome monitoring and service-user satisfaction. Alongside the primary outcomes focused role, there are some opportunities for clinical work and to support service development under the supervision of a qualified clinical psychologist., The role involves supporting clinical staff in using and interpreting routine outcomes measures, analysing data, producing reports and training staff in outcome measures. Having good IT skills and knowledge of Excel and SPSS would be an advantage. Excellent communication skills are necessary to be able to liaise and support clinical staff and teams, and an interest in working with children and young people is essential. Alongside the primary outcomes duties, there will be some discrete opportunities to support assessments for young people in the service, support the running of therapeutic groups and offering psychoeducation / targeted time limited treatment in a small number of cases under the close supervision of a qualified clinical psychologist. The post will be supervised by a Clinical Psychologist and the successful candidate will also report to the local Outcomes Lead.
