What you will be doing You will be working for men aged 18 years and over who require a period of inpatient services (higher support needs) in a safe and caring environment. The hospital also offers specialised services for people with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), including Level 2 ABI rehabilitation, Low Secure ABI and Medium Secure ABI services, delivered within a structured setting. As an Assistant Psychologist you will have the opportunity to assist with assessments, formulations, and treatment to our service users, under the supervision of the Senior Psychologist. You will also assist in clinically related administration including conduct of audits,
collection of statistics, development of audit and/or research projects, teaching, and project work. At (service) you will have the chance to develop specialist skills through out you, As an Assistant Psychologist at St Mary's Hospital, you'll work with men aged 18 and over requiring inpatient services. The role involves assisting with assessments, formulations, and treatment under supervision, as well as engaging in clinically related administration tasks. You'll facilitate psychological interventions, design and deliver specialist training, and support reflective practices for staff. Responsibilities also include report writing and analyzing various statistics.
