Full Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated psychology graduate looking to gain experience and progress towards applied clinical psychology training. This role is based within the Greenwich CAMHS Adolescent Team. The team is a multidisciplinary service providing rapid assessment, crisis intervention, assertive outreach, and therapeutic support to young people aged 12-18 and their families presenting with severe and complex mental health difficulties. We work within an Adaptive Mentalization-Based Integrative Treatment (AMBIT) model. You will join a large, well-established psychology team offering regular supervision, strong peer support, and excellent CPD opportunities, with links across Oxleas boroughs and shared professional development events. Greenwich CAMHS is a friendly, busy, and innovative service, currently redesigning its model in line with the Thrive framework to deliver a more needs-led approach. Greenwich CAMHS is based at Highpoint House, close to the beautiful Oxleas Woods. There is parking on site and in nearby residential streets. There are also close by bus routes., The post-holder will support data collection processes for Children and Young People's IAPT (CYP-IAPT) within a multi-disciplinary CAMHS service. This includes assisting with clinically related administration, completion of audits, collection of statistics, and the development of audit and/or research projects. There will also be opportunities to undertake clinical work under the supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist, supporting the psychological care of clients across all sectors of the service, within the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.

Strong IT skills (particularly in Excel and SPSS) and excellent communication skills are essential, alongside a genuine interest in working with children and young people. The post-holder will be supervised by a Clinical Psychologist and will have opportunities to undertake clinical work under supervision.
