Full Job Description

We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Psychologist with an interest in Clinical Neuropsychology and Neuro-rehabilitation. The post offers the opportunity to work with patients with a wide range of neurological conditions and would suit individuals with the ability to have a strong and communicative presence within interdisciplinary teams. At present the Clinical Neuropsychologists within the service provide input across Doncaster's Community Stroke Rehabilitation Team,Community Neuro Rehabilitation across Rotherham & Doncaster, and our inpatient ward based in Doncaster.

The post offers an exciting and varied opportunity to gain and develop skills in neuropsychological assessment and neuro rehabilitation in both in patient, outpatient and community settings. Case work will include working directly with patients and their families, as well as consultation work with health and social care colleagues., The successful candidates will have a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and previous experience working within a setting relevant to Clinical Psychology or Neuro Psychology.

The post will allow opportunities to contribute to research and service development. The service has good links with the Sheffield Training course.
