Assistant Programme Manager - Curriculum/Senior Tutor (Learning Support)
Start date: Wednesday 20th August 2025.
Contract: Full time , Permanent
Salary: £54,085 - £57,493 per annum (inclusive of London weighting)
Leyton Sixth Form College offers a wide range of A level and vocational courses to approximately 2,300 full-time 16-19-year-old students. As an Assistant Programme Manager- with responsibility for Curriculum /Senior Tutor-Learning Support, you will have the opportunity to lead initiatives within the subject area, play an active role in setting and achieving targets, and support the maintenance of excellent teaching and learning, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all students.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to be supportive and develop good working relationships with students, staff, and external representatives.
You should be suitably qualified to teach within a sixth form college. In addition, you should have excellent communication skills and a track record of sustained improvement leading to a positive impact on students' progress. As an inspirational teacher you will be committed to student-centred learning, and to raising the attainment and aspirations of our students.
