Full Job Description

As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we are seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor in Digital Marketing to support the continued development of our Marketing portfolio, including the MSc Digital Marketing and BSc Marketing programmes.
The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching across areas including digital marketing strategy, consumer insight, social media, search engine optimisation (SEO), digital campaign management and marketing analytics. They will also contribute to curriculum development, student supervision and the wider academic life of the School.
This teaching-focused role requires an educator who is committed to delivering engaging, interactive, and student-centred learning experiences that prepare graduates for successful careers in the rapidly evolving marketing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lectures, developing assessments, supervising student projects, and contributing to an outstanding student learning experience.

We particularly welcome applications from candidates with relevant industry experience in digital agencies, corporate marketing departments, or related fields, who can bridge the gap between academic theory and contemporary marketing practices through the integration of real-world insights and case studies. You will join a collaborative and inclusive academic community committed to excellence in education, impactful research and meaningful engagement with industry and society. o Experience of teaching in higher education.
o Evidence of research activity and scholarly publication.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to contribute to curriculum development and student success.
o Commitment to collaborative working and inclusive academic practice.
Knowledge of Malaysian higher education frameworks and relevant industry experience would be advantageous.
