NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool Group and axess sexual health is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Practitioner/Nurse Associate to join us, working at the intersection of Sexual Health outreach and Community Tuberculosis (TB) services. This is a dynamic, community-facing role designed for someone confident working autonomously in outreach settings, engaging with underserved populations, and supporting evolving Public Health priorities. The role requires some lone working, and patient home visits.

  • Experience in Sexual Health, TB, outreach, community health, Public Health or inclusion health
  • Strong engagement skills and confidence working with vulnerable groups
  • The ability to work autonomously while recognising scope of practice and escalation
  • A commitment to equality, diversity and reducing health inequalities
  • Applicants do not need to come from a traditional registered professional background, as the service can/will support this training if appropriate. Candidates with relevant experience from the third sector, community services or non-registered roles are strongly encouraged to apply, where experience is equivalent to the requirements of the role, in line with the Job Description.
