Full Job Description

We have an amazing opportunity for an Assistant Practitioner to make a difference to the stroke survivors in Doncaster receiving community rehabilitation. The successful applicant will work with the Multi Disciplinary Team and there will be an expectation to carry and manage a clinical caseload of stroke patients, working in a variety of clinical settings.,

  • To be based in the community in Doncaster providing seamless, integrated and patient focused care and rehabilitation.
  • To support the MDT in the delivery of high standards of therapeutic care for patients within the field of community stroke rehabilitation
  • To deliver a range of treatment modalities including group exercise and education, telemedicine and 1:1 treatment sessions

    The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and autonomously.
  • We are looking for enthusiastic, innovative and motivated individuals with a passion to create a positive change for Doncaster Stroke survivors., The role requires a non-registered, Practitioner, with previous experience of working in neurorehabilitation to support the continuous assessment of patient's needs and to implement treatment plans within a multidisciplinary framework. You must be able to work effectively under the supervision and leadership of registered professionals to provide high quality care to our Neurorehabilitation patients. You will provide supervision and support for band 2 and 3 assistant staff.
