Assistant Nursery Manager

Lead Quality and Compliance: Ensure the nursery meets all Ofsted, EYFS, and legislative requirements through high-quality practice, regular audits, and hands-on support in rooms.

Inspire and Support the Team: Engage actively with children's learning and development while guiding, developing, and supporting staff across all areas - from daily practice to performance and wellbeing.

Drive Success and Growth: Work closely with the Nursery Manager to manage budgets, occupancy, and staffing, contributing to a thriving, high-quality setting for children and families.

Located near Hitchin town centre, our nursery cares for over 100 children and features dedicated gardens for each age group, plus an allotment for outdoor learning.

Salary up to £34,299.20 per annum

We're looking for an inspiring leader to join our amazing team as an Assistant Nursery Manager at our Hitchin nursery, which takes up to 123 children per day!

If you're passionate about early years, love supporting people, and have the drive to help a nursery grow and thrive, we'd love to hear from you. Working alongside the Nursery Manager, you'll help lead the team, ensure the highest quality of care and education, and play a key role in promoting the nursery and managing occupancy.
