Full Job Description

  • Supporting large-scale transformation in the National Security market to deliver a number of existing and upcoming opportunities.
  • You will be responsible for helping KPMG develop robust problem-solving methodologies, structuring and reviewing complex analysis, and delivering clear and effective deliverables.
  • You will be required to regularly interact with Partners, Directors and Senior Managers within KPMG to source insight and expertise and to provide progress updates
  • You will also support interactions with members of the client's leadership team. The ability to develop strong client relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds and at all levels of seniority, including senior leaders, will be crucial.
  • Contributing to the planning and delivery of engagements, including work plans, timelines, project management and resource allocations, With 20 sites across the UK, we can potentially facilitate office work, working from home, flexible hours, and part-time options.     Track record of working on complex consulting projects. This should include experience of business or operating model change; strategy development; strategic cost efficiency and management; investment decision support; or development of business cases and business plans.
  • Demonstrable experience developing Business Cases.
  • A good understanding of consulting problem-solving methodologies and how these can be adapted for client challenges in the Defence sector.
  • A good understanding of consulting skillsets including: qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis, storyboarding, report and slide creation, impactful presenting, team management, influencing and relationship-building

  • Consulting experience within a 'Big 4' consultancy, or mid-tier firm.
