Full Job Description
We're not looking for specific industry or sector experience, but you do need a hunger to learn, improve and do great work. And to demonstrate the following requirements:
- Strorytelling - this is what the team is all about. You'll need to understand what makes a great story and be able to translate ideas into effective and impactful communications.
- Channel mix - you'll have experience working across a variety of communications channels and formats such as podcasts, social, newsletters, blogs, emails and video. You'll understand how content moves through production to distribution, fits into a connected content strategy and how to maximise its impact.
- Copywriting - while great communication is more than just great writing, you'll need to be a strong writer. You'll need to understand tone and how to create written communication that cuts through - the ability to take complex and corporate and turn it into simple and human and present engaging ideas as persuasive copy.
- Confidence and creativity - we'll need you to believe in your ideas and be confident in developing and sharing them. You'll need to be comfortable and prepared to stand up for your ideas when you need to, but also diplomatic to bring people with you and understand that progress happens one step at a time.
- Sweating the small stuff - the role isn't just about being creative and big ideas. You'll take ownership of your work, staying on top of production processes, with a sharp eye for detail and a willingness to dive into data to shape what we do.
- Future -readiness - what we talk about and how we talk about it is constantly evolving. You'll embrace AI in how you work, be willing to learn and trial new skills and will help us show up in new places and in new ways to not just meet, but exceed our audience's expectations.
This role is all about developing content which brings to life the topics that matter most in business and giving Deloitte a distinctive voice in the market that builds our brand and stands out to our clients and senior business leaders. The Green Room sits at the heart of what we produce, but you won't just be creating show plans or sitting in on recordings, our content strategy stretches across platforms and formats, and you'll need to be open to getting creative while using, and learning, different skillsets. You'll be building upon the team's success, but it doesn't mean we're stuck in our ways. We'll look to you to help evolve what we do - whether it's a new approach, making more of what we produce or developing new ideas to keep our content fresh. There'll also be opportunities to lead and take ownership of projects and firm relationships. You'll also be responsible for upholding our creative content principles, both through leading the development of creative work, and by advising teams across the business on how to get the best from their content through presentations and training sessions. Each day will be different (as clichéd as that sounds), working with stakeholders at many different levels inside and outside the business, crafting content covering a wide array of topics. You'll need to juggle multiple projects and ideas at once and stay on top of your work to hit deadlines. You'll report into our Brand Content & Execution Manager and work alongside another Assistant Manager, forming part of the Brand, Creative and Channels team, comprising many different skills and experiences, who can support with ideas and connections. Connect to your career at Deloitte Deloitte drives progress. Using our vast range of expertise, we help our clients' become leaders wherever they choose to compete. To do this, we invest in outstanding people. We build teams of future thinkers, with diverse talents and backgrounds, and empower them all to reach for and achieve more. What brings us all together at Deloitte? It's how we approach the thousands of decisions we make every day. How we behave, our beliefs and our attitudes. In other words: our values. Reporting into the Brand Execution Manager, you'll play a key role in telling the story of our firm, helping to shape and create content that connects with our audiences and aligns to the key market themes and priorities. People are busy. There's endless demands for their time. So how do we make sure our content is worthy of it? We think the answer lies in creative and human storytelling that views our audience as curious, smart and entrepreneurial people. A community to build and nurture, rather than just being broadcast to. At the heart of our work is The Green Room podcast, which recently celebrated its 100^th episode. It plays a central role in how we show up in the market, giving us a distinctive voice on the issues that matter most and a platform for our people, our clients and leading voices from across industry. We've come a long way. Built a loyal audience. Created something special which is a key asset to our brand. But we're always looking at how we can take it further. Alongside The Green Room, we create a range of brand led content, from social-first formats and partnership content to long-form written pieces. We're looking for someone who can contribute across our different platforms, help evolve what we do and help us build a connected approach to our content output to tell a clear and consistent story. We're looking for someone who is passionate about content, with lots of ideas and a strong writer who can spot a good story and shape it in a compelling way. Our newest team member will need to be someone who can frame business topics in an interesting, human way and who isn't afraid to take initiative and help us create content which will makes a meaningful difference to the firm and wider business landscape., - Team - you'll be a team player first and foremost. - World view - working at Deloitte gives you access to experts who can provide insights which help craft our content.
