year to volunteer and support your communityOngoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potentialStream - Employee financial wellbeing support: early access to your earned pay, savings, budgeting, financial coaching & rewardWhat you'll be doing:Site Operations & Safety Management - Assist the Facilities Manager in managing day-to-day site activities, ensuring all staff, visitors, and contractors follow site rules and safety requirements while developing a proactive safety culture.Team Leadership & People Management - Act as line manager for the operational team, providing supervision, direction, and support; ensure employees and contractors are properly trained, inducted, and monitored to maintain required standards.Waste Processing & Plant Management - Control waste reception, acceptance, processing, and disposal operations; manage maintenance of mobile plant and processing equipment to optimize performance and meet budget
requirements.Regulatory Compliance & Stakeholder Relations - Ensure compliance with all site authorizations and procedures; manage relationships with regulatory authorities (EA/HSE), local councils, and other stakeholders; facilitate regulatory visits and maintain accurate records.Operational Administration & Project Delivery - Complete daily site records and data analysis; manage contractors undertaking maintenance and works; deliver business-specific projects; provide customer service and ensure efficient facility operation within delegated authority levels.What we're looking for:Essential Landfill and/or waste Treatment processing experience in an Operational settingKnowledge and experience in H&SKnowledge of budget and cost controlUnderstanding of Operational Plant MaintenanceDesirable Technical Competence (degree or equivalent)As a proud Disability Confident Employer, we will offer an interview to applicants with a disability or long-term condition who opt-in to the
