Full Job Description
We are currently looking for an Assistant Management Accounts Manager to join our team in our Macclesfield office under a hybrid working arrangement. In this role, you'll support the management accounts team by preparing accurate financial information to aid business decision-making, assisting in producing management reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis, helping to drive financial performance and control. - Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and detailed variance analysis
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Assist in maintaining internal controls and ensuring compliance with accounting policies
- Help coordinate audits and respond to audit queries
- Support and mentor junior finance team members
Experience in management accounting or financial reporting - Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Relevant accounting qualifications (e.g. ACCA, CIMA) desirable
- Proactive attitude and attention to detail
