Assistant Management Accountant

Preparation of Management Accounts for Depots across the Ford & Slater network. Assisting in the development of various Finance projects. Analysis / Coding of Sales and Purchase Invoices / Credits. Calculating and posting Journals. Preparation of annual audit work for the auditors. Assist with preparation of Annual Statutory Accounts. Ad hoc work as requested by Management.

• Ideally you will have previous experience working as an Assistant Management Accountant or in a similar Accounting / Finance role (such as Assistant Accountant, Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Credit Control)
• Part qualified or qualified AAT, or want to study towards AAT qualification.
• Finance experience within the Automotive sector would be beneficial but not essential
• A team player with an exceptional eye for detail
• Excellent IT and communication skills (Microsoft Office, strong Excel skills)
• PC Literate
• Ability to work under pressure to specific deadlines via good time management

  A salary of up to £27,000 (depending on experience as an Assistant Management Accountant / Finance experience)
