Wates Group are looking for an Assistant Land & Planning Manager to join our Developments team in Leatherhead. The role of Assistant Land & Planning Manager will support the projects team in the allocation or planning consent of land adding value to the company's existing land/property portfolio. - Support, manage and implement strategies to safeguard the interests of the company to ensure deliverability and contractual compliance.
- Undertake financial assessments to inform site viability and business reporting.
- Keep your line manager regularly updated on progress, budget movements highlighting risks to the business.
- Act with an integral approach to localism and public engagement in the promotion of land.
- Represent Wates Developments within integrity both internally and externally when promoting land or securing planning consents.
Knowledge of the UK residential planning system. - Knowledge of residential development market.
- Knowledge of residential appraisal systems.
- Basic knowledge of legal contracts.
