Assistant Headteacher / SENCo

As our School Assistant Headteacher/SENCO you will combine strategic leadership with a strong teaching presence, championing high-quality, inclusive practice and working closely with staff, families and external professionals to deliver outstanding outcomes for pupils. In this role you will:

• Lead and develop whole school SEND provision in line with the SEND Code of Practice.
• Support and develop staff to deliver consistently high-quality, inclusive teaching.
• Work closely with parents, cares and professionals to create strong, supportive partnerships.
• Contribute to the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the school., Many of the children and young people who attend our specialist therapeutic schools have experienced significant adversity, trauma or complex life experiences. We understand that creating a culture of safety, trust and belonging is fundamental to helping them thrive academically, socially and emotionally. Our approach is rooted in kindness, compassion and a commitment to understanding the individual needs of every child.
