ASSISTANT HEADTEACHER

LEADERSHIP SCALE L11 - L15 (£66,368 - £73,105 pa)

Chelmer Valley High School is seeking an exceptional Assistant Headteacher to join our dynamic leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and talented leader to make a significant impact in a thriving, oversubscribed 11-18 comprehensive school with 1,200 students on Roll.

The role is focused on Raising Achievement at Key Stage 3 and 4, with specific oversight and accountability for outstanding outcomes at GCSE. This includes ensuring students in Year 9 are GCSE ready and developing and implementing strategies across the school to boost outcomes at Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will also need to teach at least one of English, Psychology, Sociology or Criminology.
