Full Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Head Sommelier to work closely with the Head Sommelier, supporting the sommelier team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the restaurant. To deliver an excellent dining experience for members and guests, ensuring high levels of customer service and professionalism at all times,
- Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere
- Passionate about delivering first-class customer service
- Monthly stock take
- Support with staff training
- Advising members on wine lists
- To lead and manage the sommelier team and running a station in the Great Gallery when necessary
Fine dining experience leading a team of sommeliers - WSET level 2/3
- Comprehensive knowledge of world wines and beverages
- Awareness of Licencing laws
