Assistant General Manager - Telford (Bridge Retail Park), Shropshire

At JD Gyms, we're looking for a hands-on, energetic Assistant General Manager to support club performance, inspire the team, and deliver an exceptional member experience. You'll be a visible leader on the gym floor, a trusted deputy to the General Manager, and a driving force behind the club's success. What You'll Be Doing

• Lead, coach, and support the team-setting high standards and motivating performance.
• Be a visible presence on the gym floor, engaging with members and building community.
• Ensure operational excellence across health & safety, cleanliness, and compliance.
• Support membership sales, retention, and local marketing initiatives.
• Take ownership of key business areas and KPIs, stepping up when the GM is off-site.
  
  Experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong leadership skills and a passion for fitness.
• Confidence and approachability on the gym floor.
• Proven sales and customer service ability.
• Ambition to grow into a future General Manager role.
  
  Competitive salary (£26,040 depending on location/club size)
