Assistant General Manager - Guildford

As Assistant General Manager, you'll be the General Manager's right-hand person, helping to lead every aspect of the venue. You'll inspire the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences while driving sales, controlling costs and ensuring the venue operates to the highest standards. No two days are the same-you could be coaching team members, analysing business performance, planning promotions, resolving guest enquiries or leading a busy Saturday night service. Drive Commercial Performance
• Maximise sales across games, food, drinks and retail
• Deliver promotions and marketing campaigns
• Analyse performance and identify opportunities for growth
• Monitor bookings, utilisation and pricing
• Increase repeat visits through upselling and guest engagement
Own Operational Excellence
• Help manage labour budgets and rotas
• Monitor stock, GP and food costs
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards
• Maintain venue presentation and equipment
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers where required
  
  Do you thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment? Are you passionate about leading teams, driving commercial performance and creating unforgettable experiences?, Minimum 2 years' experience as a Duty Manager, Deputy Manager or Assistant Manager
• Experience managing busy customer-facing operations
• Strong leadership and coaching skills

• A proactive, hands-on approach

• Experience managing budgets or P&L
• Sales and marketing experience
• Personal Licence
• First Aid at Work qualification
